BiRthDaYs!

Here's a few snaps from Ellie Parker's first birthday party!
I knew i wanted to do a ladybug theme, but couldn't find any cute decorations-
so, naturally, i made my own. It was such a fun day, and i still can't believe
my baby girl is ONE!
~~~
okay -- is this cake not the bomb.com?!? HoneyMoon Bakery in Rome, GA is
amazing. period. i sketched this cake on a sheet of notebook paper-and voila!
They made it happen...and yes... it WAS as delicious as it looks.
these are canvas panels that i painted to go behind the food/ cake table to bring some color to the space
So, there ya have it! A glimpse into our fun party day. As much fun as it was, i'm glad it only comes once a year...talk about a tired girl after that was over - and i don't mean Ellie!
  1. Megan, The party decorations were amazing and almost as beautiful as the party girl herself!! I am always in awe of your wonderful talent and the beautiful pieces that you create. Ellie's first birthday party was so precious and sweet and you did a fabulous job of making it so. You are a wonderful Mommie to Ellie and she is so blessed to have you (and so are we). I am making a copy of this precious blog to take to Kate - I want her to see your comments about the cake. I had a wonderful time at the party and I will always remember Ellie's first birthday party!
    I love you and Ellie too, Aunt Nessa
